The Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District Board of Directors has agreed to lease 285 shares of Twin Lakes water for a total cost of $171,300. Another 70 shares of Twin Lakes water are being negotiated for at a maximum price of $700/share.
The District will begin discussions regarding the beneficial uses for its water acquisitions after the first of the year. Anyone with a suggestion or water need should contact the District Office at 719-254-5115.
