Scaplo Resigns

The General Manager of the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District, Julie A Scaplo, has submitted her letter of resignation, to be effective August 31, 2004. August 11th, the date of the next District Board Meeting will be her last day in the District office.

Ms. Scaplo feels very fortunate to have been associated with the LAVWCD start up and to have had the opportunity to work with the seven Directors over the past sixteen months. Being the LAVWCD General Manager has been one of the most challenging and rewarding periods in her career, and she regrets having to make such a difficult announcement.

Ms. Scaplo has recently been given the opportunity to return to the Aerospace industry and has accepted a position with the Honeywell Corporation.

She wishes the Directors and the District continued success in fulfilling the mission of the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District.
