New Website

      Welcome to our new website. We've been working hard rebuilding our website to offer you access to important news, documents, schedules and other information that you need in a more timely and organized manner. There are a few features we'd like to point out to you, so that you can find what you need, when you need it.
     Legislative Section --Our new legislative section will carry up to date information about the latest Water rules and rulings in the valley, as well as information about past court rulings and what water laws are currently in place in Colorado.    
     News--We''ve also added this section and have increased our ability to post meeting news, agendas and minutes sooner. Keep in mind that meeting minutes are subject to change until approved by the board of directors.
     About Us--Find out everything you wanted to know and more about the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District, including when and how the district was formed, our mission statement, where we're located, as well as who sits on our Board of Directors, and our equally hard working office staff.
     Conservation Easements--Find everything you ever wanted to know about Conservation Easements, as well as links to appraisers and a checklist. You can also find or request forms here and read more about the history of conservation easements.
     Canals--All the information you need about canals in the district. We're looking for more photos to add to this section, so if you have a great photo you'd like to share, send it to us!
     Water Glossary --For someone new to water, or even old timers water terms can be confusing and intimidating. We've added this glossary feature to help you understand terms and their definitions.
     For Kids --Today's children will grow up to the be agricultural leaders of tomorrow, we're helping all children get an early start with activities and other information just for them that explains water conservation and why water matters.
     Links--Links to other districts, legislative representatives, and anything else we thought you might find interesting can be found here.
     Photo Gallery --A real work in progress here, we're working to get all of the photos from the past few years into an organized album that you can view at any time. Photos from past field trips, meetings and various canals and water systems in our district will be here. In the meantime, please bear with us.
